College Football's Undefeated

Ordered by BCS Rank, Overall Record, then Conference Record:

1. #1 Florida (6-0, 4-0 Conference) [SEC East]
2. #2 Alabama (7-0, 4-0 Conference) [SEC West]
3. #3 Texas (6-0, 3-0 Conference) [Big 12 South]
4. #4 Boise State (6-0, 1-0 Conference) [WAC]
5. #5 Cincinnati (6-0, 2-0 Conference) [Big East]
6. #6 Iowa (7-0, 3-0 Conference) [Big Ten]
7. #8 TCU (6-0, 2-0 Conference) [MWC]

With only 7 undefeated teams left this early in the year, the 2009-2010 college football season is markedly different from last season. The only two teams that can function as "BCS Busters" are TCU and Boise State. Out of those two, Boise State is more likely to be a BCS buster simply because its schedule is weaker and they are less likely to lose. Should TCU remain undefeated, however, a strong case could be made for both of them to be in BCS games. This could also be the first year that a non-BCS school participates in the national championship.

Most likely to drop out of the undefeated ranks: Texas
Least likely to drop out of the undefeated ranks: Boise State
